October Updates

As of today we’ve been in our new home at Herengracht 607 for one month! It’s amazing how quickly the energy is building, many thanks to all of you wonderful beings who have joined in! Here are some upcoming events at the Yoga Community this month:

New Weekly Classes!
As of October 1st there are two new drop-in classes –  so now there’s a morning class seven days a week!

NEW classes:
*Monday evenings, 18.00
*Wednesday mornings, 10.00

Updated Drop-in class Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 10.00 – 11.30
Saturday – Sunday: 10.30 – 12.15

Monday 18.00 – 19.30
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 19.00 – 20.30

Headstand Workshop
Sunday, October 17, 13.00 – 15.00
€15, please let us know in advance if you plan to attend

This workshop is open to everyone, whether you’ve never before attempted the posture, or you’re wanting to progress to the next of the 8 steps, or you’re confident in the headstand and want to learn advanced variations. There will be lots of personal attention and plenty of opportunity for questions. Come one and all!

Autumn Yoga Retreat
October 22 – 25, Friday to Monday
€325 all-inclusive – €295 if you sign up before October 9th

Join us in the beautiful, wild dunes of Castricum, just 1/2 hour from Amsterdam! Daily yoga classes, meditation, chanting, fresh air, healthy delicious meals, great people – all amidst natural and beautiful surroundings.

Pregnancy Yoga Course
Mondays for 6-weeks from 12.00-13.15
Starting October 11, €100

The practice of yoga during pregnancy awakens the natural intelligence of your body to help you through the changes that occur. It is an excellent way to tone muscles, increase stamina and improve circulation. You will learn to relax and relieve tension through breathing – for a smooth pregnancy and easier labor.

Yoga for Kids, ages 2 to 4
6-week course from 13.00 – 13.45
Starting October 6, €60

Includes movement, games, music, and singing. Taught in Dutch but everyone is welcome!
