Classes will continue through the summer, as well as special opportunities to sing and perfect your headstand (both at once, if you like :) and nourish yourself through ayurveda.
KIRTAN WITH NIGAM – STRAIGHT TO THE HEART OF THE MATTER
When chanting simple mantras over and over a special alchemy occurs in the heart, and suddenly we are open to love and acceptance. On this evening Nigam will teach us some ancient and new mantras, tell tales of his journey and lead us in meditation together. Most of all he hopes to inspire us on our spiritual journey of self discovery.
Nigam has been singing kirtan for 30 years since he was initiated into Kriyayoga directly by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. Meditation, mantra and kirtan singing, together with his love of the ocean and surfing, have been his tools and constant companions on his journey since. Nigam currently teaches meditation and mantra in Bali and throughout Europe and we are very honored to have him join us for this evening at the Yoga Community!

This workshop is open to everyone, whether you’ve never before attempted the posture, or you’re wanting to progress to the next of the 8 steps, or you’re confident in the headstand and want to learn advanced variations. There will be lots of personal attention and plenty of opportunity for questions. Come one and all!
SIVANANDA SATSANG – MEDITATION AND CHANTING
Join us for a guided meditation and uplifting Sanskrit yogic chants then something sweet to eat with tea afterward. Experience the traditional, heart-opening yogic path of devotion. Everyone is welcome – just bring your open voice and good energy!
AYURVEDA SUMMER PROGRAMS
These workshops will offer simple, practical techniques to help us shift to a lifestyle that can truly support our wellbeing. Each workshop can be followed individually, though following all three will give you a good understanding of different aspects of Ayurveda.
Introduction to Ayurvedic Nutrition

In this workshop you will learn the basics of Ayurvedic nutrition and how to adjust your diet to your individual digestive system. You will receive plenty of recipes and ideas to implement what you have learned into your own life.
