As many of you know, our usual schedule of classes will continue until July 7th, and then the Yoga Community will take a pause until August. This is a great opportunity to keep up the practice on your own! Here are some good ways to do this:
Yoga Retreat Afternoon
Join us for our last event before the pause – our monthly Sunday class and satsang. End the season with a wonderful, inspiring recharge together and keep the glow going through the summer.
Sunday, July 7th:
16.00 – 17.45: Yoga class, €12.50 or your class card
18.00 – 19.30: Satsang, meditation and chanting, suggested donation €7
Take a Yoga Vacation
Visit a Sivananda ashram and immerse yourself in the yoga practice. You can take a course or go as a guest, anytime for any length of time. Our guru Swami Vishnu-devanana designed the yoga vacation to optimize the awakening of sustained energy, so you return home afterwards feeling truly revitalized.

Practice with a CD
The Yoga Community offers an 80-minute CD of the Sivananda yoga class, taught by our director Susan Nicolas. Mantras, breathing exercises, sun salutations and the 12 postures are included. This facilitates the ability to keep up the practice at home with a familiar voice guiding you. You can purchase the CD from us at the YC or at the American Book Center, on the 2nd floor in the yoga book section. (Spuistraat 12)
